Job description:
Helder Maritiem crew agency is currently recruiting for several experienced Cable lay crew (EU) for a reputable company within the cable laying field.
Positions:
- Cable Tensioner / Carousel Operators
- Technicians
- Supervisors
- Vessel: CLV
- Start date: appx. Feb 2024
- Locations: Newcastle (Feb 2024 prox 3 weeks) Angola (March / April prox 3 weeks) and Trinidad ( June till end of August)
- Duration: appx. 4-5 weeks in rotation
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in Cable laying vessels
- Subsea Cable Installation
- Knowledge of cable specifications
- Hydraulic or electrical knowledge of cable laying spread
- EU Citizens
Duties:
- Cable storage and handling
- Loading and handling at sea
- Deck operations and general maintenance of equipment
Required certificates:
- Offshore Medical
- NOGEPA 0,5A, BOSIET + OLF or equivalent like STCW 95 (Basic Training).
- VCA VOL (NL) or equivalent like SCC (UK).
